Sri Lanka’s official reserve assets decline by 3.5% in March 2026

Sri Lanka’s official reserve assets declined by 3.5% to USD 7,019 million in March 2026, compared to USD 7,270 million recorded in February 2026. 

The total reserves includes the proceeds derived from the swap arrangement with the People’s Bank of China, as reported by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL).
