31-year-old arrested with heroin in Katana

A suspect has been arrested in the Jayabima area in Katana for the possession of 52 grams and 200 milligrams of heroin.

The arrest was made by officers of the Katana Police Station based on information received regarding suspected drug trafficking activities.

The suspect, a 31-year-old resident of Negombo, was taken into custody during the operation.

Katana Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
