Duo arrested over Soysapura restaurant owner’s murder and shooting of woman
Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a restaurant owner and the serious injury of a woman in Soysapura on October 20, according to the Police Media Division.
The incident involved a shooting with a firearm that killed the restaurant owner and left a woman seriously injured.
The Western Province South Crime Division launched an investigation into the incident and subsequently arrested two suspects yesterday, on suspicion of aiding and abetting the crime and conspiracy.
The suspects, aged 28 and 36, are residents of Kahathuduwa and Ratmalana.
Further investigations into the incident are being conducted by the Western Province South Crime Division, police said.
