A tense situation has reportedly unfolded at the ‘Dansal’ premises near the Ruwanweli Maha Seya in Anuradhapura, following an attempt by a group, including several Buddhist monks, to commence a ‘Satyagraha’ campaign.
Tensions escalated when police officers arrived at the location and removed the group, including the monks, from the premises, said Ada Derana reporter.
