Sun’s overhead position today in Sri Lanka

Today, the Sun will be overhead in the towns of Pulmoddai, Manthota, Palanpiddi and Siripura around 12:11 noon.
The Met Dept. said that on the apparent northward relative motion of the sun, it is going to be directly over the latitudes of Sri Lanka during 05th and 15th of April.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places over the island during the afternoon or evening, the Met Dept. says.
During thundershowers, there may be temporary localized strong winds , the Dept. also says.. General public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
