Rohitha Abeygunawardena indicted on assets case

The Bribery Commission today filed action against MP Rohitha Abeygunawardena in a non-declaration of assets case, Ada Derana reporter says. 


The Commission to Investigate Allegation of Bribery or Corruption filed the case at the Colombo High Court over allegations of undeclared assets estimated at 41.2 million.


According to the commission, the politico has acquired this property as a bribe during 2004-2006.
