46-year-old killed in Uragasmanhandiya shooting

A 46-year-old individual was killed after an unidentified gunman opened fire at him in Meegaspitiya in Uragasmanhandiya this afternoon (11), the police said.
According to the police, the gunman who was the pillion rider of a motorcycle, has fled the area soon after the shooting.
The remains of the deceased has been deposited at the Balapitiya Base Hospital pending an autopsy.
