Suspect nabbed with 12-bore gun in Kurunegala

A person has been arrested in Theliyagonna, Kurunegala area for the illegal possession of a 12-bore firearm without a license.
The suspect was arrested in a raid carried out by Kurunegala Police officers according to information received, Police said.
Suspect is a 39-year-old resides of Kurunegala area.
He is to be produced before the Kurunegala Magistrates court while further investigations are carried out by the Kurunegala Police.
