Man detained after his drone falls on Ruwanwelisaya

A 35-year-old man was arrested after he lost control of a drone he had been flying and it fell on the sacred Ruwanwelisaya’s base, Ada Derana reporter said.
The person who is said to be from Thalawathugoda was arrested by a cop who was on duty, it was reported.
According to reporter, at the time of the incident, the suspect was taking footage of a Kapruka Pooja that was being held at the archaeological site.
He will be produced before the Anuradhapura Magistrate’s Court today (15), the police said.
