Fifteen top police officers transferred

Fifteen high-ranking police officers including four DIGs have been transferred with immediate effect with the approval of the National Police Commission.

Police Headquarters said that DIGs K.S.B.R. Dias, P. Munasinghe, L.F.A.R.J. Silva and K.P.M. Gunaratne have been transferred.

SSPs S.A.R.P. Jayathilaka, J.A.P.G. Perera, D.J. Palihakkara and SPs P.R.P. Senaratne, G.K.J. Aponsu and P.M. Somawathi have also been transferred.

In addition to this ASPs L.H.N. de Silva, H.D.S.U. Jayasekara, H.W.I.S. Muthumala, D.S. Periyapperuma and H.M.L.R. Amarasena were also ordered transferred.
