66 Schools closed over Dengue outbreak

Sixty- Six schools in the Trincomalee district will be closed for a period of three days , due to the spread of Dengue in the area, local authorities’ state. 

Reports confirm 12 deaths and 37 in critical condition cause by the sprfead of Dengue fever, in the Kinniya area alone. 

Discussions have been organized between the Chief Minister of the Eastern province and the Minister of Education , where a action plan will be devised to combat the issue in the future.
