Mob forcefully enters into Moratuwa Police after accident

A group of persons have forcefully entered into the Moratuwa Police station demanding speedy action against a bus driver whose vehicle crashed into a bus stop killing three persons.


The driver of the bus was arrested yesterday, according to police he will be produced before the Magistrate today.


Three persons died following the accident involving a lorry and the bus at Egoda Uyana in Moratuwa last afternoon. The bus had reportedly collided with the lorry and crashed into a nearby bus stop, police said.


Three including a 15-year-old girl were killed in the incident.
