‘Avurudu Neketh Seettuwa’ handed over to President

The auspicious times sheet for the Sinhala and Tamil New Year was presented to the President according to tradition earlier today (11).
 
According to the President’s Media Division, the auspicious times sheet was offered to the President by the Minister of Cultural Affairs, S. B. Nawinna and the Secretary of the ministry, D. Swarnapala at the President’s House.
 
The sheet includes auspicious times for traditional events such as the dawn of the New Year, the cooking of food and the first meal of the New Year.
 
Ministers and MPs including the Secretary of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, Minister Duminda Dissanayake and the Chief Minister of the Western Province, Isura Devapriya were present at this occasion.
