Four women go missing in Buttala

Police have begun investigations into the disappearance of four women from the Buttala area.

Investigations were opened based on complaints made by the relatives of the missing persons.

The spouse of a 34-year-old woman lodged a complaint about his wife’s disappearance on the 01 of May.

Meanwhile, the father of a 19-year-old also reported her daughter missing.

The 19-year-old is said to be a resident of Wawewela.

The mother of another 19-year-old girl filed a complaint about the missing status of her daughter, who was a resident of Kukuranpola, Mahasenpura.

The fourth missing person, a 20-year-old woman of Eksath Mawatha, Buttala, was reported missing since yesterday (02), Police stated.
