UPFA vows action against PC members with improper conduct

Action will be taken against members of the Provincial Councils with improper conduct, Secretary-General of the United People’s Freedom Alliance, Minister Mahinda Amaraweera says.

The Secretary stated that there has been talk that certain members of the Provincial Council have been acting unilaterally and preparing for a shift in power.

Amaraweera stated this at a public rally in Walasmulla.

The Minister further stated that the President would be making many such decisions in future to convert the government into a ‘clean government’.
