India dispatches relief supplies for flood victims

In light of the crisis situation that has arisen as a result of the extreme weather conditions, India has dispatched a ship containing relief supplies, Ada Derana reporters say.

The ship has been dispatched as an immediate response to the request made by the government of Sri Lanka.

A second ship carrying more disaster relief supplies is due to arrive on the island on Sunday (28).
