Academic activities suspended at Moratuwa Uni

Internal academic activities at the University of Moratuwa have been suspended for a period of two weeks from today (01) due to the spread of dengue and viral flu.

Vice Chancellor of the university Prof. Ananda Jayawardena said that the decision was taken in order to control the situation which has affected most of the students at the university.

He also said that the dengue mosquito breeding hotbeds within the environment around the university has increased significantly.

However, he added that other duties and functions of the university will be carried out as per ususal during this time period.
