Dumindra Ratnayaka appointed Chairman of BoI

Mr Dumindra Ratnayaka has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Investment (BoI) of Sri Lanka. 

He is also a former Director of the BoI and has now been re-appointed to the BoI as its Chairman. 

Meanwhile two new Directors have also been appointed to the Board of Investment.

Mr Ajith Goonawardene, deputy chairman of John Keels Group of Companies, and Mr Mangala P.B. Yapa, former Secretary General/CEO of Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and MD/CEO of Colombo Dockyard PLC, have been appointed as Directors.

Mr Ratnayake was appointed to the position by the President following the resignation of attorney-at-law Upul Jayasuriya last Thursday (13).
