Two major national programs introduced to make the country victorious – President

President Maithripala Sirisena stated that the newly introduced ‘Puravesi Athvela’ and ‘Grama Shakthi’ national programs are comprehensive campaigns to make the nation triumphant. 

Speaking at the meeting of the divisional communicators of the Puravesi Athvela program held yesterday (25), President Sirisena stated that the need has arisen to create Sri Lankans who are equipped and capable of facing the many challenges that the nation will face in years to come. 

President Sirisena stated that the Puravesi Athvela program will be a nationwide campaign that will provide welfare and economic solutions to grass-root level people from each Grama Niladhari Division. 

The President further stated that the sole intention of both programs was to create a better Sri Lanka for a better tomorrow.

Ministers Mahinda Mahinda Amaraweera, Dayasiri Jayasekara, State Ministers Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena, Dilan Perera, Deputy Minister Lasantha Alagiyawanna, MP Malith Jayathilaka, Chief Advisor to the Puravesi Athvela program Shiral Lakthilaka and the Additional Secretary to the President Jayantha Wijeyrathne were among those participated in this occasion.
