Retired CEB employees requested to report back to work

The Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy today called on former CEB employees who retired after September 01, 2014 to voluntarily report back to duty. 

Issuing a statement, the ministry said that this is one of the steps being taken as part of the measures in order to maintain uninterrupted power supply to consumers in the wake of the strike launched by CEB trade unions. 

The ministry has requested retired field technical officers and drivers, who retired after September 01, 2014 to report back to duty if they are willing to do so.
