Gunman on shooting spree in Las Vegas: Reports

Las Vegas Police has confirmed reports of an active shooter at the Mandalay Bay casino and resort in Las Vegas.
There are reports of multiple casualties, media reports said.
The gunman reportedly opened fire at a country music festival being held on the Las Vegas strip, BBC reported.
The Las Vegas Police has asked people to avoid the area.
Several people including a police officer had been shot at a nearby outdoor concert, the Las Vegas Sun newspaper reported.
BBC reports videos of people fleeing from the scene have emerged on social media.
Multiple people have been shot, though it’s unclear how many, according to News3LV.
Cops were urging people to avoid the area at around 10 p.m. local time as they searched for the gunman.
Professional poker player and Instagram star Dan Bilzerian, who was at the concert, said on his IG story that he saw the shooting unfold and witnessed a girl getting shot right in front of him.
University Medical Center spokeswoman Danita Cohen said the Las Vegas hospital is taking in “several” people with gunshot wounds. She didn’t have any more immediate information.
