Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe stated that the country will experience rapid development within the next two years as a result of the reconciliation strategy adopted by the government.

He stated that the Sri Lanka could not experience vast developments over the past two-years due to the massive debt burden that plagued the nation.

The Premier expressed these sentiments while attending the ceremony held to vest a new housing complex with 218 dwellings with the public in Madampitiya.
