SLMC not in agreement with AG’s report on minimal standards

The Sri Lanka Medical Council said that there are two issues in the report prepared by the Attorney General regarding minimum standards on South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine (SAITM).

However, the SLMC are in agreement with other matters included in Attorney General’s report, a Spokesman from SLMC stated.

The SLMC yesterday (17) held a discussion regarding the recommendations provided by AG on minimal standards for SAITM.

A lengthy discussion was held regarding the report presented by the AG on private Medical Education.

However, there have been two issues in AG’s report,that could not be agreed upon by the Sri Lanka Medical Council, it is reported.
