Development has receded due to divisions – Karu

Speaker of the Parliament, Karu Jayasuriya, says that although Sri Lanka was one of the leading countries in the past, the country’s development receded due to numerous divisions.

Addressing a function at Kalutara City Hall, he pointed out that Sri Lanka is a country that has many advantageous including its geographical location.
