Trains delayed on up-country line due to derailment

All trains on the up-country railway line are delayed due to the derailment of a train at Peradeniya, the Railway Control Room said.

The fuel tank of a freight train traveling from Polgahawela to Kandy had derailed, Ada Derana reporter said. 

The office train from Kandy to Colombo this morning was also cancelled as a result of this as well as the Colombo-Badull train.
