Dunesh Gankanda sworn in as State Minister

Ratnapura District UNP MP Dunesh Gankanda has been sworn in as the Minister of State for Environment before President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat, today (30).

Mr Gankanda had served as the Deputy Minister of Lands and Parliamentary Reforms in the unity government.

The new Cabinet of Ministers were appointed in a ceremony yesterday (29), during which 12 new Cabinet Ministers, a State Minister and a Deputy Minister were sworn in before the President.
