Projects of prev. govt. have not been halted – Presidential Secretary

November 7, 2018   11:01 am

None of the developmental projects launched by the former government have been suspended, says the Secretary to the President Udaya R. Seneviratne.

He stated this responding to a query raised by Ada Derana.

Various groups are claiming that the ongoing developmental projects have been halted due to the prevailing political crisis in the country.

Reportedly, several officers have refrained from intervening in the implementation of these projects following the turnover of the political situation.

However, Presidential Secretary emphasized that ongoing projects would not be halted under any political circumstances.
