May 21, 2020   01:42 pm

The Ministry of Transport Services has decided to further extend the validity period of a driver’s license.

The relevant gazette notification extending the validity period until July 31st, 2020, was issued yesterday (20).

Previously, the validity period of a driver’s license which was supposed to expire on April 31 was extended until May 31, due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.

However, considering the prevailing situation, the validity of every driver’s license that expires on May 31st has been extended to July 31st.
