Multi-modal transport terminal to Kandy

Plans are underway to set up a multi-modal transport terminal to address the heavy traffic congestion in the city of Kandy.

The project aims to provide convenience to the public by centralizing on the railway, bus stops, and private parking spaces to one point.

Plans have already been drawn up to provide immediate and practical solutions to the problems caused by the evacuation of certain areas of the city for the set up of the terminal, said Governor Lalith U. Gamage.
