Budget 2021 presented tomorrow

The Budget for the year 2021 is scheduled to be presented to the Parliament of Sri Lanka at 01.40 pm tomorrow (November 17).

It will be presented to the House by Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Mahinda Rajapaksa.

The Second Reading Debate of the budget will be held for four days and it is decided to be held from the 18th to 21st of November.

The Budget Debate will be held daily from 10.30 am to 5.30 pm and the vote for the second reading is scheduled for 5.00 pm on November 21.

The Committee Stage Debate on the Budget will be held from November 23 to December 10.

The vote for the Third Reading will take place on December 10 at 5.00 pm.
