State banks open tomorrow for ‘Aswesuma’ beneficiaries to collect payments

State banks will remain open tomorrow (Aug. 30) despite it being a Poya day, State Minister of Finance Ranjith Siyambalapitiya says.

Thereby, all branches of Bank of Ceylon (BOC) and People’s Bank will be kept open for ‘Aswesuma’ welfare beneficiaries to collect their payments.
