Schools in Galle, Matara districts to reopen tomorrow

The Secretary of Education of Southern Province has announced that all government schools in the Galle and Matara districts will reopen tomorrow (Oct. 11).
Initially, it had been decided to close the schools in Galle and Matara districts on October 09 and 10 after taking into account the prevailing inclement weather conditions.
Meanwhile, government schools in Matara District previously remained closed on October 05 and 06 after torrential rains and gusty winds wreaked havoc in most parts of the locality.
