At least 20 injured after bus topples in Welikanda

At least 20 people have sustained injuries after a bus veered off the road and toppled in Sinhapura, Welikanda this morning (Nov.30), Ada Derana learns.
The injured have been admitted to the Welikanda Divisional Hospital before being transferred to Polonnaruwa District General Hospital for immediate medical attention.
According to the police, the driver had lost control of the vehicle and failed to control the speed.
The bus had been transporting at least 75 employees of a private company.
