Two spill gates of Kala Wewa Reservoir opened as water levels rise

Two spill gates of the Kala Wewa Reservoir have been opened as the heavy rainfall continues to pound the area.

The Irrigation Department has urged the people living downstream to exercise caution about the rising water levels of the water body.
