Train services disrupted on Northern Line

A train derailment near the Mahawa railway station has disrupted train services on the Northern Line, according to the Railway Department. 

Accordingly, two carriages of the ‘Yal Devi’ express train plying from Kankesanthurai to Mount Lavinia have derailed near the Mahawa station.

Due to this, the trains operating on the Northern railway line are expected to experience delays.
