Fuel prices revised

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco) announced that fuel prices will be revised with effect from 5.00 a.m. today (January 01).

Accordingly, Petrol Octane 92 will be increased by Rs. 20 to Rs. 366 per litre while Petrol Octane 95 is increased by Rs. 38 to Rs. 464 per litre.

Auto Diesel has been increased by Rs. 29 to Rs. 358 and Super Diesel by Rs. 41 to Rs. 475.

Meanwhile the price of Kerosene has been reduced by Rs. 11 to Rs. 236 per litre.

Revised Fuel Prices:

Petrol Octane 92 - Rs. 366
Petrol Octane 95 - Rs. 464
Auto Diesel - Rs. 358
Super Diesel - Rs. 475
Kerosene - Rs. 236 

 


UPDATE:

Lanka IOC has also decided to increase fuel prices in line with the new Ceypetco prices.

Meanwhile, Sinopec Energy Lanka (Pvt) Limited – the Beijing-based oil and gas giant’s subsidiary in Sri Lanka – too has revised the prices of its petroleum products.

Accordingly, Sinopec has announced that Petrol Octane 92 will be increased to Rs. 363 per litre, while Petrol Octane 95 will be increased to Rs. 464. Super Diesel has also been increased to Rs. 475 per litre.

The new revised Sinopec fuel prices are as follows;
Petrol 92 Octane - Rs. 363
Petrol 95 Octane - Rs. 464
Super Diesel - Rs. 475
