There should not be any displaced persons by 2025 – President

President Ranil Wickremesinghe has emphasised that the issue concerning the resettling of displaced persons cannot continue, and that there should not be any displaced persons in the country by the year 2025.
The Head of State made these remarks while addressing the Jaffna and Kilinochchi District Coordinating Committee meeting on Thursday (04).
Wickremesinghe also instructed the relevant officials to draw up a plan to resettle all those who have been displaced.
