Applications called for post of Director General to Bribery Commission

Applications have been called for the appointment of the Director General to the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC), the Parliamentary Communications Department announced.
Applications are called pursuant to the provisions stipulated in the Anti-Corruption Act No 9 of 2023, it said in a statement.
For this, the qualified persons will have to prepare the applications in accordance with the format published on the Parliament’s official website (www.parliament.lk) falling under ‘Quick Links’ titled “Appointment of the Director General to the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption”.
The duly completed applications should be sent via registered post referred to the Secretary General of the Constitutional Council, Constitutional Council-Office, Parliament of Sri Lanka, Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte or via email to constitutionalcouncil@parliament.lk on or before 04 March 2024.
Furthermore, the statement also noted that “Appointment of Director General of Bribery or Corruption Allegations Investigation Commission” should be mentioned on the upper left corner of the envelope or in the subject of the e-mail.
The newspaper advertisement on this will be published in the national newspapers on the 11 and 12 February, it added.
