27-year-old arrested over fatal shooting in Hungama

Police have arrested a suspect in relation to the shooting incident that left a man dead in Kahandamodara area of Hungama on Wednesday (06).
Tangalle Divisional Crimes Unit has apprehended the suspect near Kattakaduwa Reservoir in Hungama last morning (08), the police said.
The arrestee is a 27-year-old resident of the Ranna area, as per police.
Police have also found the firearm used in the shooting, based on the information divulged by the suspect during the interrogations.
Hungama Police is conducting further investigations in this regard.
