Evening showers likely in certain parts of the island

The Meteorology Department says showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle and Matara districts in the evening or night.

Mainly dry weather will prevail elsewhere in the island, it said.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in Galle and Kalutara districts during the morning.
