Nine more underworld figures arrested

Police have arrested 09 more members of organized criminal gangs on Friday (05), under the operation launched to curb the underworld.
The arrested individuals have been identified as the residents of Colombo, Galle, Ragama, Moratuwa, Bandaragama and Wadduwa, the police said.
Police mentioned that the arrestees included the members of the gangs led by notorious criminals such as “Pukudu Kanna”, “Podi Lassi”, “Ganemulla Sanjeewa”, “Heenatiyana Sankha”, “Kudu Anju”, “Kudu Salindu” and “Mathugama Gavariya”.
