At least 11 commuter trains have been cancelled this morning (16), according to the Sri Lanka Railways.

Train cancellations were attributed to the lack of locomotive operators and train guards who had not reported to work.

Accordingly, as many as 11 trains departing Colombo Fort to Moratuwa, Panadura, Wadduwa, Negombo, Ambepussa, Padukka and Ragama have been cancelled.
