One person injured after tree falls on motorcycle

A motorcyclist has reportedly been injured and hospitalised after a tree fell on him while he was travelling on the Hatton- Bogawantalawa main road in the Wanarajawatta area today (22).
Ada Derana reporter stated that the injured motorcyclist was admitted to the Dickoya District Base Hospital.
The strong gusty winds blowing across the Central Hills today is believed to have caused the tree to fall.
