Fallen tree blocks section of Galle Road

One lane of the Galle-Colombo main road has completely been blocked near the Kalutara Bridge due to a fallen tree. 

The lane affected is the one running from Galle towards Colombo, Ada Derana reporter said.

Heavy traffic congestion was observed in the areas as a result, however, efforts are underway to restore the section of the road for vehicular movement, according to the reporter.
