Pakistan HC unveils Gallery at Kandy Museum celebrating Buddhist archeological sites

High Commissioner of Pakistan to Sri Lanka Maj. General (Rtd) Faheem Ul Aziz officially inaugurated the Pakistan Gallery located inside Kandy Museum. 

The gallery has recently been renovated to showcase the Buddhist archeological and heritage sites, based in different cities of Pakistan through pictures, relics, and artifacts, the Pakistan High Commission in Sri Lanka said in a statement.

Accordingly, the Pakistan Gallery is now officially opened for the general public to visit, the statement mentioned.

Many prominent dignitaries including Pradeep Nilanga, Diyavadana Nilame and Mr. Afzal Marikar Honorary Consul of Pakistan in Kandy attended the event. 

The High Commissioner has later distributed school bags among children while visiting the Kandy Temple, according to the Pakistan High Commission in Sri Lanka.
