University non-academic staff to reach final decision on strike today

The University Trade Union Joint Committee (UTUJC) says that a final decision regarding the trade union action of the university non-academic staff will be taken today (04).
UTUJC Co-Chairman Dhammika S. Priyantha emphasized that they held a special discussion with the Minister of State for Higher Education regarding their demands and other professional issues, yesterday (03).
He mentioned that they will discuss with the trade union representatives regarding the matters agreed in that discussion and would inform about the future course of measures within today (4).
