Several students injured as school bus collides head-on with private bus

Around 20 school children have reportedly been wounded and hospitalised following a head-on collision involving a “Sisu Seriya” school bus and a private bus at Ranala in Kaduwela.
The “Sisu Seriya” bus, transporting a group of school children from Colombo to Labugamuwa, has collided with a private passenger transport bus plying from Embilipitiya to Colombo this afternoon (19).
Police said the injured passengers have been admitted to the Nawagamuwa Hospital.
