Motorcycle linked to Payagala shooting found torched in rubber estate

Dodangoda Police stated that a motorcycle suspected to have been used in the shooting in the Koshena area in Payagala last night has been found burning in a rubber estate in the Eladuwa area within the Dodangoda Police division this morning (01).

 

The individual who sustained critical injuries and was admitted to the Nagoda Hospital following the shooting in front of a house in the Payagala area last night (31) had succumbed to his injuries.

 

The deceased has been identified as "Dila," the brother-in-law of organized crime gang member "Panadura Nilanga."
