Minister of Energy Anura Karunathilaka says a revision of fuel prices may be considered at the end of September in view of the recent increase in global fuel prices.
Speaking at an event in Galle today (20), the Energy Minister said the government is currently discussing whether the public can bear any further increase, given that domestic fuel prices are already at a relatively high level.
He added that the government would take prevailing international fuel prices into consideration when reviewing domestic prices at the end of the month.
