N’Eliya Education Zone principals given authority to decide on school opening amid adverse weather
The Nuwara Eliya Zonal Education Director has authorized school principals to decide whether their respective schools should remain open tomorrow (21), in view of the prevailing adverse weather conditions in the area.
Under the directive, each school principal has been instructed to independently assess the prevailing weather and local safety conditions before deciding whether to conduct academic activities.
Parents, students and guardians have been advised to remain vigilant and follow official announcements issued by their respective schools regarding arrangements for tomorrow.
